Keeping Busy

This week Ashley and I are in Florida for a missions conference at Wellington Presbyterian Church. Sunday was a busy day for us as we had multiple venues in which we shared.

We were able to speak to the adult Sunday school class and share with them about our call to missions and what the Lord is doing in us and through us in Honduras. Then, during the worship service, Ashley led Kid's World - the children's portion of the conference. Also, at the end of the worship service we were interviewed by one of the pastors in front of the whole congregation. In the evening, Ashley taught the kids again and lastly we talked to the youth group about the hard things we face as missionaries.

On Monday morning, both Ashley and I had the chance to speak to students at Wellington Christian School. We have been made available during the school days this week in order to share with the students - many of whom do not know anything about overseas missions.

Tomorrow we will continue with speaking in the school during the day and will be spending the evening with two of the life groups of the church.

So far, the conference has given us many opportunities to share about the exciting ministries we get to be a part of in Honduras. We are also getting the chance to get to know many of the people of Wellington Presbyterian Church.
